I would recommend this store for having a piano to meet everyone's needs. The selection of pianos is massive and the staff are friendly and helpful. I purchased a 4'11" young chang baby grand that had some mechanical issues arise within a few months of delivery, but the store sent technicians to fix the issues. It sounds great now!

I had been looking at polished ebony baby grands online and saw Carlson’s had a few, so went in to look at them. Robert was so helpful. He showed and explained each of them and we played and listened to each. He went above and beyond to set me up with the one I wanted. Matt delivered it and I’ve been enjoying the beautiful sound every day since! I definitely would recommend Carlson’s Piano World to anyone looking into a piano of any kind!

Great store with a lot of selection between new and used pianos both digital and acoustic of all shapes and sizes! Also a couple of organs! I worked with Will and he was very helpful with showing and demonstrating the different pianos and gave me space to try and decide for myself. I bought a new Yamaha upright - everything went smoothly from the selection, the purchase, and the delivery, great communication. Highly recommend Will and Carlson's Piano World for all your piano needs!

I’ve been to this piano store a couple of times now, and both experiences were excellent. The first time, I was shopping for a digital piano but wasn’t sure which model to go with or what really set them apart. Robert helped me out, walking me through the differences and making a recommendation based on what I was looking for. I ended up going with the piano he suggested, and I’ve been really happy with it.

More recently, I went back because I noticed a subtle sound coming from the piano and wasn’t sure if it was normal or something wrong with the speaker. Robert helped me troubleshoot it by demonstrating the same thing on an acoustic piano. It turns out my piano was working exactly as it should. The sound I was hearing is something you'd also hear on an acoustic piano and is captured in the digital samples. I really appreciated that he took the time to walk me through it and even taught me something new in the process.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend this shop, especially if you're looking for a solid selection and knowledgeable help. Robert's always great to work with. They carry a wide range of both acoustic and digital pianos, more than I’ve seen at other places in the Twin Cities.

I had a very out of tune piano and had to hear how an in-tune piano sounded with my new hearing aides in. They graciously helped me to test them. Now I know what it SHOULD sound like when my piano is tuned. They are very helpful here, This is where I'll go for my next piano.

I fell in love with this piano after playing it in a different finish at my local store. I was set on polished ebony but no local stores had it. Thankfully, I was able to locate it at Carlson’s and pay to have it shipped to my state. It was also a great price. Matt went out of his way to follow up with me during the shipping process and offered to help me with any questions I had during setup. The piano is absolutely stunning and plays beautifully. I can’t say enough good things about it. I recommend Carlson’s for your piano needs!
